Abstract539)      PDF (1417KB)(390)
The Lotka-Volterra predator-prey biological model is mainly studied in this paper by introducing the new population which has no ability to prey the other population to form a simple competition between predator and prey when the number of predators is excessive. Based on above condition, differential algebraic biological model is established according to the conservation. Then, the stability of biological model is discussed when the parameters change in a certain range by applying the stability analysis method and the related criteria of differential algebraic system. Finally, the model is the simulated numerically by considering the results of the analysis and using the Matlab software, and the simulation results show that the system has a limit cycle when the parameters vary a certain value, which proved that the complex nonlinear phenomena exist in the differential algebraic biological model.

Abstract418)      PDF (3206KB)(457)
Gas belongs to flammable and explosive hazardous gas. When the leakage of gas occurred in limited indoor space, the serious consequences would be produced. According to the characteristics of the gas leakage diffusion, firstly Gambit was established indoor gas stove nozzle dispersion physical model. Secondly CFD fluid dynamics software FLUENT was used to simulate the diffusion process of continuous leakage. Finally comparing the diffusion results under certain temperature gradient but different moisture conditions, and monitoring the specified installation area with variety of mounting points, the aim was to optimize the installation position of the alarm. The results show that the location of distance and relative humidity of indoor air were both the key factors on affecting the alarm time. For the same mounting points, relative air humidity increasing 15% would cause delaying the time of alarm nearly 6 s| under the same air relative humidity, each time the alarm was away from the leaking mouth increasing by 1metre, alarm time would lag for 4 s.

Abstract578)      PDF (261KB)(249)

Three Ni/SiO 2-γ-Al 2O 3 catalysts with varying molar ratios of Si to Al were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation. The acid property and crystalline phase of these catalysts were characterized by FT-IR of adsorbed pyridine and XRD, respectively. The activities of the above catalysts were also investigated by the catalytic cracking experiment of mixed plastic. With decreasing of molar ratio of Si to Al, the total acid amounts of catalyst were increased, which induce gas and carbon yield increased and yield decreased. However, excess acid amount caused deep cracking, and then the gasoline fraction yield decreased. The 2 # catalyst of all the acid catalysts prepared is the best in this work and exhibits a very high catalytic activity (the gasoline fraction yield exceeds to 40%) on the catalytic cracking process. The gasoline compositions in the products of catalytic cracking were characterized by gas chromatograph. The results show that the acid property of the catalyst can be improved by modulating the molar ratio of Si to Al, and therefore the selectivity of the catalyst can be changed to get more gasoline fraction with high octane number.
